This Privacy Policy explains how your personal data is handled when you use the Gora learning app at app.gora.academy, our website at gora.academy, and related services (together, "Gora" or "the Service").
Gora is operated by Flare Digital DOO, a company registered in Montenegro (registration number 51141231, PIB 03556069), with its registered office at Filipa Kovačevića BB, Budva, 85310, Montenegro. Flare Digital DOO is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

We only collect what we need to run the Service:

We never sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers ("processors") who help us run Gora, under contracts that require them to protect it:
We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of Gora and our users.
We aim to keep data within the EU/EEA. Some providers (for example Google) may process data outside the EEA. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
We keep your account and learning data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your account and progress data promptly (see below). Analytics data is retained in aggregated or limited-retention form. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Where the law requires (e.g. financial records), we keep the minimum necessary for the required period.
You have the right to: access the data we hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to certain processing; receive it in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). To exercise any of these, email hello@gora.academy and we'll respond within the time the law allows.
If you believe we've handled your data improperly, you can complain to a supervisory authority — in Montenegro, the Agency for Personal Data Protection and Free Access to Information (AZLP); in the EU, your local data-protection authority.
You can delete your account and all associated progress at any time from within the app — open Settings → Account & sync → Delete account. This permanently removes your account record and learning data from our systems. You can also email us at hello@gora.academy and we'll do it for you.
Gora is not directed at children. You must be old enough to consent to the processing of personal data in your country (generally at least 16, or the lower age set by local law, with parental consent below that). We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age; if you believe we have, contact us and we'll remove it.
We protect your data with measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
